Greetings from THINKARTWORKTT Studio, we are pleased to share our feature in the Newsday Kids entitled, “THINK, Learn art at home”.
“Schools closed suddenly last month now you can’t go far from home to play.”
Fitzroy Hoyte of THINKARTWORKTT usually conducts art classes at his studio on Cipriani Boulevard, POS. The studio is one of the many spaces that had to close due to the growing concern about the virus. However, that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to mentor his young students.
With the use of technology a new avenue, the classroom has become accessible to students at home. Hoyte said his classes are very fluid and he deals with his students like Elijah Lalla, on a one on one basis.
Elijah says he’s excited to continue working on pieces that he started in class before schools closed. He says that Hoyte gives him tools like books and images to guide him on the different projects he is working on at home.
